House in the the popular Thamel area of Katmandu. Green plants grow
all year on the outside terrace. Wedding bands play on the streets below,
during the Katmandu wedding season.

are nice places to watch the sunset. You can also see crows flying
to their roosting areas along the Bagmati River at sundown. All of
it is quite relaxing. And there aren't as many electrical lights in
Katmandu as in other places, so on the tops of some Katmandu hotels
you can get some decent views of star-laden skies.
